Dr. Marjorie Pickett-Miles is originally from the great State of Georgia. She is the youngest of seven siblings to the late Archie Lee and Penny Leola Picket. As a child, Chaplain Miles knew there was a spiritual assignment on her life. When she shared with her mother what she was dealing with, her mother began guiding her with understanding of the power of faith and prayer using the Bible as her point of direction. As she delve into the word of God, prayer became a way of life for her. Proverbs 3:5-6 remains one of her favorite scriptures to this day. Her favorite song remains to be, "I learned How to Learn and Depend on Jesus."Chaplain Miles spent over 26 years in Federal Service. After retirement, she began her journey in Christian Education at the United Theological Seminary and Aspen Christian College and Seminary as she earned two Master's Degrees and a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Ministries and gives all the glory to her Heavenly Father. She is Founder and Overseer of Just A Touch International Ministries, which is an inter-denominational and spirit-filled ministry founded on biblical principles.
